C.O.P.S. was established in 2004 and has seven Board of Directors with a combined total of 150+ years of law enforcement experience. We are Internationally affiliated through the International Union of Police Associations and local charter of AFL-CIO.

C.O.P.S. does NOT represent just one single agency of officers. The majority of C.O.P.S.' members are law enforcement officers who are employed by the Harris County Sheriff's Office, Harris County Constables Office, Houston Police Department, DPS troopers, Federal Air Marshals, Pasadena Police Dept. or Montgomery County Sheriff's Office.

Some lawyers with other groups have NEVER even tried a case in court. They usually opt to settle out of court resulting in minimal trial experience. C.O.P.S. Attorneys have had the most successful record in winning criminal cases, civil service appeals and no bills in Grand Jury than any other union lawyer.

C.O.P.S. is the ONLY group that offers the Legal P.L.U.S. GOLD Plan that reimburses the members $$$$$$ if they are suspended or terminated from their jobs for disciplinary reasons. Suspesions are $200 per day and Terminations are $3,000.00 PAID TO THE MEMBER!!!!!!!!
